alli best

I believe there is beauty in experiencing the world differently.

Alli Best is a young fashion designer who experiments with minimalistic, clean, and architectural designs. Technically trained with a love of fine art, Alli focused her energy on creating garments that can truly tell a story. Her affinity for sportswear led her to design a conceptual collection in 2018 of tailored garments that illustrate an individual's journey through mental health and recovery - a social issue she believes needs to be destigmatized.

Alli worked as a print and illustration artist during her undergraduate training. After graduating from Drexel University in 2018, Alli began her career in sleep and loungewear at KOMAR Brands. Beginning as an intern on the Kate Spade New York Sleepwear team, she was quickly promoted to Assistant Designer on the Jane & Bleecker Sleepwear team. For over a year, she worked hand in hand with the head designer and design director to develop quarterly lines that are sold in major department stores across the country.

Currently, Alli is the Assistant Designer at Elliott Lauren, a contemporary/crossover womenswear brand based in NYC. Working closely with the head designer, sales team and owner, she is an instrumental part of trend, color and fabric research, tech pack creation, and quarterly line development.
